Uno Minda Limited has provided an update regarding its planned acquisition of the e-Drives business assets in Vietnam from Friwo. In a regulatory filing with the NSE and BSE, the company stated that the transaction is still underway and was expected to be closed on or before July 22, 2025.
This latest announcement builds on Uno Minda’s earlier update from July 2 and is aimed at keeping stakeholders informed about the progress of the acquisition. The move is consistent with Uno Minda’s broader strategy to enhance its presence in the electric mobility space. The company also mentioned that further information will be shared as the transaction progresses.
