In a major move for India’s automotive tech landscape, Vayavya Labs has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SimDaaS Autonomy Pvt. Ltd. a deep-tech startup incubated at IIT Kanpur to push forward advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicle (AV) testing.
The collaboration will merge SimDaaS’s AI-driven scenario-generation and sensor-simulation tools with Vayavya Labs’ strengths in digital twins, virtual ECUs, and coverage-driven verification frameworks. The goal: accelerate virtual testing and validation of ADAS and autonomous driving technologies — especially tuned to India’s complex traffic conditions.
According to Vayavya’s business-development lead, this partnership will deliver comprehensive validation solutions tailored for real-world mobility challenges, enabling safer and faster deployment of autonomous functions. Meanwhile, SimDaaS’s founder emphasized that their simulation platform adapts to the unique nuances of Indian traffic a critical factor for accurate ADAS/AV testing.
By combining AI-based simulation, digital-twin technology, and virtual validation workflows, this alliance aims to strengthen India’s deep-tech automotive ecosystem. Observers say it could set new benchmarks in simulation-led engineering, helping Indian firms become global contributors in next-generation mobility innovation.
