QCraft raises $100 million to accelerate autonomous driving and “Physical AI” vision

Autonomous driving technology company QCraft has secured $100 million in a new Series D funding round, signaling strong investor confidence in the future of self-driving and real-world artificial intelligence. The funding round includes backing from a mix of strategic automotive partners and investment funds, with the company planning to channel the capital into advancing next-generation AI technologies such as world models and reinforcement learning. These technologies are designed to help machines better understand and interact with real-world environments, a key requirement for achieving higher levels of driving automation.

Founded in 2019, QCraft has already made significant progress in the automotive space, with its intelligent driving systems deployed in over one million vehicles across nearly 30 production models in partnership with multiple automakers. The company is now shifting its strategic focus toward Level 4 (L4) autonomous driving where vehicles can operate with minimal human intervention as well as broader applications of what it calls “physical AI.” This concept extends artificial intelligence beyond digital environments into real-world systems like vehicles, robotics, and logistics networks.

Looking ahead, QCraft plans to expand its global footprint while scaling its technology across more than 50 additional vehicle models by 2026. The company is also actively exploring commercial opportunities in autonomous logistics and robotaxis, with pilot programs expected to begin soon and larger deployments targeted in the coming years.

This latest funding round reflects a broader shift in the mobility industry, where companies are moving beyond traditional driver-assistance systems toward fully autonomous and AI-driven transportation ecosystems. By combining real-world data, advanced algorithms, and scalable deployment strategies, QCraft is positioning itself at the intersection of automotive innovation and next-generation artificial intelligence where the ultimate goal is not just smarter vehicles, but intelligent systems that can operate seamlessly in the physical world.
