Indian auto component giant Varroc Engineering has secured a significant new contract to supply AC bi-directional wall chargers to a major global electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, marking a major step in the company’s growing footprint in the electric mobility space. The multi-year agreement, valued at around ₹4,391 crore (approximately USD 48 million) at peak annual capacity, will see Varroc manufacture Energy Star-compliant bi-directional chargers designed for safe, efficient, and flexible EV charging.
