Repairify the parent company of diagnostics brands asTech and BlueDriver and Opus IVS, a provider of advanced automotive diagnostic hardware and software, have announced plans to combine their diagnostics businesses in a strategic move aimed at accelerating innovation and expanding capabilities for the automotive repair industry. The planned combination is designed to address the growing complexity of modern vehicles, where advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), software-defined architectures, and intricate electronic systems are becoming standard. Once the transaction closes subject to customary regulatory approvals the leadership teams from both companies will remain intact, with Brian Herron set to lead the combined diagnostics business encompassing asTech, Opus IVS, and BlueDriver.

While the three brands will continue to operate under their existing names to support current products and customers, the companies plan to gradually integrate capabilities over time. This approach is expected to expand diagnostic reach, increase access to cutting-edge tools and technology, and streamline workflows across the industry. For repair professionals grappling with diagnostic and calibration challenges, the collaboration promises a more robust and unified suite of solutions that can adapt to evolving vehicle technologies and improve operational efficiency.

Overall, this strategic alignment between Repairify and Opus IVS represents a significant shift in the automotive diagnostics landscape one that could help drive faster innovation, enhance service quality, and better equip repairers to meet the demands of tomorrow’s vehicles.
