oToBrite unveils vision-AI innovations at Automotive World Tokyo 2026
Press Release, 19 January 2026
At Automotive World Tokyo 2026, oToBrite Electronics is spotlighting a broad suite of Vision-AI-driven technologies designed to advance automotive safety, intelligent perception and autonomous capabilities across multiple vehicle types. The company’s exhibit highlights its new range of automotive-grade GMSL2 camera modules from 1 MP to 8 MP which are engineered to meet the demanding imaging needs of passenger cars, commercial vehicles, unmanned systems and robotics. These high-performance cameras serve as the foundation for enhanced Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and next-generation autonomous functions showcased at the event.
Central to oToBrite’s display is its Vision-AI system for Level 4 autonomy in controlled environments, which combines semantic and non-semantic VSLAM (Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) to support complex parking scenarios and vehicle navigation without relying on GPS. This technology not only enables memory-based mapping and precise vehicle positioning, but also powers autonomous park-and-summon features in closed settings such as parking facilities. A standout solution at the booth is SafeZone, an award-winning anti-pinch sensing system that uses AI image recognition to detect passengers — even in crowded conditions — helping prevent injuries at bus doors and other transit access points.
oToBrite is also showcasing oToGuard 2.0, a unified platform that supports ADAS levels from 0 up to 2+, compliant with key international safety regulations, making it applicable for heavy commercial fleets, electric buses and other large vehicles. For robotics and unmanned applications, oToSLAM leverages Vision-AI with multiple Around View Monitoring (AVM) cameras and a single ECU to deliver high-precision spatial awareness and 3D environmental perception. In the passenger vehicle segment, oToParking integrates both Automated Parking Assist and Autonomous Valet Parking functions, demonstrating the company’s push toward higher levels of autonomy in everyday automotive use. All these technologies underscore oToBrite’s commitment to enhancing passenger safety, intelligent driving and the broader automotive AI ecosystem.
