Evera expands rapidly to become India’s largest EV car mobility platform
Evera, an all-electric cab mobility startup based in India, has unveiled a bold growth blueprint aimed at transforming the country’s electric ride-hailing landscape. The company announced plans to expand its fully electric vehicle fleet from around 500 cars today to an ambitious 4,500 vehicles by June 2026, positioning itself as India’s largest EV car mobility platform.
This aggressive scale-up effort reflects how demand for cleaner, zero-emission urban transport is rapidly accelerating across major Indian cities — especially in the Delhi NCR region, where Evera currently operates most of its services. The expansion will not only enlarge the company’s footprint in conventional airport transfer and corporate commute services but also extend its reach into premium consumer segments.
Massive fleet growth backed by strategic funding
A critical element underpinning Evera’s scaling strategy is a USD 2 million investment from Signodrive Technologies, which will be deployed to enhance the company’s operational infrastructure, upgrade its technology stack, and support fleet management systems.
In addition, Signodrive has sourced a 4,000-vehicle fleet through Gensol Engineering and structured a lease agreement under the insolvency resolution process (IRP) — and these vehicles will now be integrated into the Evera platform. Evera plans to add about 2,500 new electric vehicles by the end of the current financial year (March 2026) before completing its full target by June.
Nimish Trivedi, Co-Founder and CEO of Evera, emphasized that this infusion of capital and assets will greatly strengthen the company’s ability to deliver reliable, zero-emission rides at scale — a key differentiator in India’s fledgling EV mobility space marked by rising expectations for service quality and sustainability.
A versatile service portfolio
Evera’s platform serves both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) markets. On the consumer side, airport transfers and premium EV rides are core offerings, while corporate clients increasingly rely on Evera’s electric fleet for employee transit solutions. In addition to these, the company supports intercity travel, hourly rentals, and daily commute services — all powered by an EV ecosystem that aligns with corporate ESG and carbon-reduction goals.
Operating an all-electric fleet not only reinforces Evera’s commitment to sustainable mobility but also helps corporate customers meet environmental targets as India’s urban mobility sector evolves. By providing transparent pricing, professionally trained drivers, and a technologically enhanced ride-hailing experience, Evera aims to set new standards in shared electric transport reliability.
