At the heart of this digital push are three exclusive BMW M in-car apps designed to make the central display more dynamic and useful. First, M Cockpit delivers customizable, real-time vehicle insights that show key driving dynamics, powertrain metrics, chassis behavior and geodata, allowing drivers to set up to five tailored dashboards that reflect their priorities behind the wheel. M Drag Meter taps into GPS data to offer drag-strip-style performance tracking, letting drivers measure acceleration, braking, reaction time and other dynamic metrics in a clear, gamified layout on the central screen. This turns spirited driving into a data-rich, interactive experience. Completing the trio, M Channel brings entertainment to the vehicle, offering high-quality, on-demand BMW M video content — including stories, how-tos and motorsport coverage — that can be enjoyed during charging stops or breaks.
Beyond in-car functionality, BMW is deepening community engagement by integrating the BMW M Community directly into the My BMW App for customers in Germany. This integration gives M drivers access to exclusive products, special events, partner offers and premium M-branded content, fostering a stronger connection among enthusiasts and reinforcing the brand’s focus on performance lifestyle.
