oToBrite launches powerful Vision-AI camera suite
Press Release, 26 November 2025
At the global robotics expo iREX 2025, oToBrite unveiled a comprehensive set of next-generation Vision-AI tools aimed at outdoor robotics, unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), and smart-mobility platforms. The showcase includes their automotive-grade GMSL™ camera series, a Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO) camera, a multi-camera positioning system (oToSLAM), and a new GMSL Camera developer kit designed for the NVIDIA Jetson platform — enabling developers and OEMs to build advanced perception systems.
These solutions are built for the real world: GMSL cameras with automotive-grade sensors deliver low-latency, high-bandwidth video even under challenging conditions like strong backlighting, fog, or low light. The VIO camera adds inertial data (via IMU + gyroscope) to stabilize vision output on rough terrain or during heavy vibration a key benefit for robots, drones, and autonomous vehicles operating outdoors. Meanwhile, the oToSLAM system offers full 360-degree perception and centimeter-level localization — without relying on LiDAR or pre-built HD maps combining object detection and drivable-area mapping.
By blending sensor fusion, AI processing, and developer-friendly platforms, oToBrite’s latest offerings signal a shift: Vision-AI cameras are no longer optional add-ons but foundational building blocks for reliable, autonomous mobility and robotics — especially in unpredictable outdoor settings.
