VEStellaLab brings premium smart parking tech to India

News, 14 November 2025

South-Korea’s smart mobility firm VEStellaLab is stepping into the Indian market, targeting high-end malls, airports and commercial complexes with its indoor navigation and smart parking solution. The company’s flagship system, “Watchmile,” uses non-GPS indoor positioning—sensors and cameras guide drivers directly to available bays, while smartphones display real-time directions inside multi-level indoor parking zones.

Already managing over 120,000 parking spaces in Korea and active in pilots in Saudi Arabia and the US, VEStellaLab says India will be its next big growth region. The firm is seeking partners among parking operators, real estate developers and OEMs—including names like Tata Group and Reliance Industries—to build premium, differentiated parking experiences. With India’s urban mobility landscape rapidly evolving, the move signals a bet on smart infrastructure integration and premium service layers in major feeder markets.
