STRADVISION enters SOAFEE SIG to advance software-defined vehicle architectures

Press Release, 30 October 2025

STRADVISION, a Seoul-based automotive software specialist known for its deep-learning perception systems in advanced driver-assistance and autonomous vehicles, has officially joined the SOAFEE Special Interest Group (SIG). The move signals STRADVISION’s intention to collaborate with industry peers in shaping open, cloud-native standards key to the next generation of software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

SOAFEE, an initiative originally launched by Arm Ltd., focuses on uniting vehicle software, embedded edge computing and cloud-native tools to meet real-time, safety and performance demands of modern mobility. By integrating STRADVISION’s flagship SVNet perception engine—already embedded with a global roster of OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and SoC providers—the company aims to enhance the portability, scalability and security of embedded vision systems across diverse hardware platforms.

STRADVISION’s CBO, Philip Vidal, stated that the decision to join the SOAFEE community underscores the firm’s commitment to “advancing software-defined vehicle innovation through open collaboration.” Looking ahead, the collaboration holds promise for automotive platforms where perception, connectivity and modular software architecture must harmonise. For automakers and mobility providers, that could translate into faster software roll-outs, more flexible ECU ecosystems and a smoother path toward vehicles that evolve over time rather than being locked in at launch.
