HarmonEyes teams up with SDVerse to bring eye-tracking to vehicles
Press Release, 29 October 2025
In a bid to boost both driver safety and in-vehicle user experience, HarmonEyes has joined forces with SDVerse, the automotive industry’s first marketplace dedicated to software-defined vehicles. Through this collaboration, HarmonEyes’ AI-powered eye-tracking platform—capable of monitoring driver fatigue, cognitive load and attention levels—becomes available to automotive manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier-1 suppliers looking to integrate these capabilities into next-generation vehicle systems.
By tapping into a database containing over 14 million eye-tracking records, HarmonEyes’ models can detect changes in driver state and enable real-time interventions before errors occur. Meanwhile, SDVerse, backed by major industry players such as General Motors and Magna International, offers a streamlined ecosystem where vehicle software can be sourced, evaluated and integrated quickly. The partnership signals a shift toward more proactive safety systems: rather than simply responding to incidents, vehicles will increasingly anticipate driver states and intervene ahead of time. For the automotive industry, this represents not only a step forward in functional safety and compliance but also in personalization and smarter user experiences on the road.
