Wialon unveils 2025’s top 10 global GPS hardware makers

Press Release, 17 October 2025

Global fleet digitalization leader Wialon, a platform connecting more than 4.2 million vehicles and assets worldwide, has announced its annual list of the Top 10 GPS hardware manufacturers for 2025. The ranking, unveiled at the Wialon Community Reunion in Dubai ahead of GITEX Global, highlights the most frequently connected GPS devices to Wialon over the past year — as reported by its 2,700 partners in 160+ countries.

Leading this year’s list is Teltonika Telematics, which retained its top position with over 900,000 devices connected and 100 integrated models on Wialon’s platform. Other manufacturers in the top 10 include ST SUNLAB, Jimi IoT, Ruptela, Queclink Wireless Solutions, iStartek, WanWayTech, Howen Technologies, Streamax Technology, and SEEWORLD Technology.

The ranking showcases both stability and innovation in the telematics market. Long-time leaders continue to dominate, while new entrants reflect the growing influence of video telematics and emerging IoT applications in fleet management. Wialon’s hardware-agnostic platform, which supports more than 3,800 GPS device models from 700+ manufacturers, ensures fleet operators have the flexibility to choose the right hardware for their needs.

Aliaksandr Kuushynau, Head of Wialon, noted, “We’re witnessing a mix of continuity and transformation. Established players remain strong, but the rise of new video telematics brands shows how accessible and mainstream this technology has become. Our goal remains simple — to empower partners with choice and innovation.”

Developed by European IoT software firm Gurtam, Wialon continues to serve fleets across diverse industries, offering solutions in vehicle tracking, fuel management, video telematics, and advanced analytics. The 2025 ranking underscores the platform’s vital role in driving global fleet digitalization and strengthening the collaboration between software and hardware ecosystems.
