SRIVARU Motors launches “Alive” scooter line & PRANA class EV motorcycle in India
Press Release, 29 September 2025
SRIVARU Motors (SVM), based in Coimbatore, has just rolled out a fresh generation of electric two-wheelers — the “Alive” scooter series and a new “PRANA Class” electric motorcycle — as part of its push into smarter, cleaner mobility. The factory in Tamil Nadu is built to high standards, with robotic frame welding, an R&D center, and battery-pack production capability using LiFePO₄ (lithium iron phosphate) battery technology. All models are certified to Indian safety and regulatory norms. )
The Alive scooter line includes three variants: Lite, Plus, and Elite. The Lite is aimed at budget-minded users and first-time riders, the Plus balances range and comfort, while the Elite is the premium model with the highest range (~155 km), fast charging, bigger tires, GPS, concierge support, and advanced anti-theft features. Prices for the Alive scooters start from ~₹ 74,900. Common features across all Alive models include CBS disc brakes, IP67 protection for the battery and motor units, regenerative braking, reverse assist, and a smart digital display.
Then there’s the new PRANA Class motorcycle — designed with families and daily commuting in mind. It offers a 3.5 kWh LiFePO₄ battery with up to 170 km of range, a powerful 4,000 W motor producing about 50 Nm of torque, multiple ride modes, dual suspension, and wide tyres. It also features a digital display with app connectivity, plus essential safety features like disc brakes and side-stand sensors. PRANA pricing starts around ~₹ 1,44,900. Deliveries will kick off from India’s Pongal festival in 2026.
With these launches, SRIVARU aims to cover a wide spectrum of riders — from price-sensitive commuters to those seeking range and performance — while working to expand dealer presence and build after-sales support aligned with EV norms.
