MAN Truck & Bus, in partnership with AW Automotive, now offers the smart charging cube an all-in-one energy-storage and charging solution for electric trucks and buses. Each Cube combines a 500–1,100 kWh battery with power electronics and one to four charging ports (up to 400 kW each), and can even supply an external MCS station at 1,000 kW. Designed for depots, maintenance yards or remote sites such as construction zones, it connects to local grids at 32 A to 630 A.
It can harness on-site renewable energy such as solar PV and offers peak shaving, dynamic load management, and bidirectional charging. Available exclusively to MAN customers, it can be purchased, leased or rented.
