Jindal Mobilitric, a subsidiary of Jindal Worldwide Limited (JWL), has unveiled its new electric scooter (two wheeler) R40.
R40 electric scooter has a range of 165 km on a single charge. Jindal Mobilitric is currently awaiting government approval (homologation) for the R40, and plans to launch it through its dealership network once the approvals are in place. The company has a manufacturing plant in Ahmedabad with a production capacity of 2.5 lakh vehicles per annum, and also an in-house battery manufacturing plant.
Jindal Worldwide Ltd. is an Indian company known for its textile operations. It was established in 1986. It has now diversified into new sectors, notably electric vehicles, through its subsidiary Jindal Mobilitric.
