Cummins India has introduced advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) aimed at bolstering India’s clean energy transition and enhancing grid stability. These sustainable solutions are ideal for diverse sectors including manufacturing, data centers, commercial real estate, and mining.
The BESS integrates seamlessly with renewable energy sources like solar and wind, enabling customers to maximize green energy consumption and reduce costs through peak shaving and energy shifting. Cummins’ Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are designed for flexibility, providing scalable power solutions in 10-ft and 20-ft containers with energy outputs ranging from 200 kWh to 2 MWh.
Built with high-cycle life, safe lithium ferrophosphate (LFP) batteries, the system features an integrated liquid cooling system for optimal temperature control. These self-contained units ensure effortless transportation, rapid installation, and flexible deployment, supported by Cummins’ extensive service network. This launch underscores Cummins India’s dedication to decarbonization through innovative power technologies.
