According to India’s top civil servant at the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy(MNRE), companies in India are working to lower the price of green hydrogen to as low as US$ 2/kg in the near future, including the subsidies.
Secretary MNRE, Shri Prashant Kumar Singh’s statement as reported in media during European Hydrogen Week in Brussels, mentioned that the nation’s low cost of renewable energy (RE) will make it possible to produce green hydrogen at low prices.
