M&M receives 674 patents in FY24

Mahindra & Mahindra [M&M] has received a record 674 patents in FY24, the most of any Indian 4-wheeler automobile/farm equipment manufacturer. This is a 380% increase in the number of patents issued to M&M over FY23.

M&M continually pushes the boundaries of innovation through investments in research and the utilization of cutting-edge technology. As of March 31st, 2024, the organization has been granted a total of 1185 patents across various regions, with 193 patent applications currently pending approval. Collectively, they have submitted 2212 patent applications to date, including filings from their subsidiary, Mahindra Electric Automobile Ltd. Furthermore, they have registered 115 designs and filed 178 new applications. This remarkable accomplishment stands as evidence of their advanced research capabilities.

Their investment in the development of these technologies spans areas associated with innovation, customer experience, and safety.
