Wialon and Lytx partner to bring AI-powered dash cam integration for safer, smarter fleet operations
Press Release, 9 December 2025
Fleet management platform Wialon has announced a major integration with Lytx, a global leader in video telematics and driver safety solutions. This collaboration enables Wialon users to access AI-powered dash cam technology from Lytx directly through the platform a move set to transform fleet safety, efficiency, and visibility across global operations.
Through this partnership, Wialon customers can now integrate Lytx’s Surfsight® and DriveCam® solutions into their fleets. The Surfsight camera uses AI and machine vision to detect risky driving behaviors such as using a phone, eating, or smoking while driving. When unsafe activity is detected, the system issues instant audio and visual alerts, prompting drivers to self-correct before incidents occur. The DriveCam® dash cam offers fleets an all-in-one safety solution, providing managers with real-time insights into road conditions, driver behavior, and vehicle performance — helping reduce accidents, maintenance costs, and insurance claims.
The integration strengthens Wialon’s role as a comprehensive digital fleet management platform, offering a unified interface for video telematics, driver monitoring, route optimization, fuel tracking, and vehicle diagnostics. According to Wialon Head Aliaksandr Kuushynau, the demand for video-based fleet intelligence has surged, with connected video adoption on the platform growing over 80% in 2024 and another 45% in 2025’s first half. The partnership with Lytx aims to meet this demand by offering a scalable, easy-to-deploy solution.
Lytx’s Partner Development Manager Klaus Burgstaller emphasized that the integration merges safety innovation with operational intelligence, giving fleets “a clearer view of what’s happening on the road and empowering drivers to make safer choices.”
With over 4 million connected vehicles across 160+ countries, Wialon’s partnership with Lytx marks another step toward smarter, data-driven mobility — redefining how fleets manage safety, sustainability, and performance worldwide.
