TÜV SÜD and NATRAX have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for providing EMI/EMC testing of automobiles and automotive components in Bengaluru. NATRAX offers Type Approval and Conformity of Production certifications in accordance with CMVR Rule 126, which is dependent on the manufacturers’ applications and test results.
Ezhilan Neelan, SVP of TÜV SÜD South Asia, emphasized the collaboration as a public-private initiative to address the need for the best EMI/EMC testing in Bengaluru. Indian automakers can readily join foreign markets by cutting down on the time and expense of cross-border homologations.
