KPIT to develop electric powertrain systems for EKA Mobility

EKA Mobility and KPIT Technologies have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for development and integration of electric powertrain technology components.
This partnership seeks to establish new standards for sustainability, performance, and efficiency in India’s e-CV (electric commercial vehicle) sector.
The MoU will concentrate on creating advanced electric powertrain systems, including Traction Motors, Controllers, Vehicle Control Units, and Battery Management Systems, specifically designed for EKA’s wide array of electric buses and commercial vehicles. The MoU will utilize KPIT’s thirty years of experience in mobility and its wide array of homegrown electric powertrain technologies. With these innovations, EKA Mobility will be able to provide its customers with exceptional energy efficiency, a diminished total cost of ownership (TCO), and an unparalleled driving experience.
