VVDN Technologies, a provider of software, product engineering, and electronics manufacturing services, has announced a strategic engagement with QNX, a division of BlackBerry Limited.
Through this collaboration, VVDN and QNX will enable customers across automotive, industrial, medical, aerospace, defense, and other mission-critical sectors to accelerate embedded software development. The partnership combines QNX’s proven safety-certified software stack including the QNX Neutrino RTOS and QNX Hypervisor for Safety with VVDN’s expertise in automotive electronics, hardware design, and end-to-end manufacturing, creating an integrated foundation for innovation, functional safety, and faster time to market.
Key focus areas of the engagement include:
- Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs): Pairing QNX’s software platforms with VVDN’s centralized ECU development and OTA capabilities to simplify SDV development.
- ADAS/ARAS & Autonomous Driving: Leveraging QNX’s real-time performance and certifications with VVDN’s strengths in sensor fusion, AI/ML, and camera-based solutions.
- Digital Cockpit & Infotainment: Merging QNX’s secure OS with VVDN’s UI/UX and multimedia customization for next-gen in-vehicle experiences.
- eMobility Solutions: Integrating VVDN’s expertise in BMS, power electronics, and EV chargers with QNX’s secure software to support growing eMobility demands.
- Embedded Domains (Medtech, Industrial, Robotics, Aerospace & Defence): Delivering scalable, high-performance solutions through VVDN’s hardware platforms optimized with QNX software.
