Visteon Corporation, a leader in automotive cockpit electronics, has partnered with FUTURUS, a China-based innovator in Head-Up Display (HUD) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies, to co-develop next-generation HUD systems for global automakers. This collaboration aims to enhance the in-cabin experience by seamlessly projecting real-time driving data and Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS) alerts directly into the driver’s line of sight and onto the road ahead.
The partnership will focus on developing Augmented Reality (AR) HUD, Windshield HUD, and Panoramic HUD systems, combining Visteon’s expertise in cockpit electronics with FUTURUS’s optical innovation and AR display technologies. These advanced HUD systems are central to the future of connected mobility, offering smarter, safer, and seamlessly connected driving experiences.
