Vector unveils PREEvision 10.21 with full AUTOSAR & RFLP support
Press Release, 23 October 2025
Vector Informatik GmbH has rolled out the latest version of its model-based E/E engineering tool, PREEvision 10.21, which brings the major enhancement of supporting all current AUTOSAR releases—including the latest Adaptive versions—within a single modelling environment. In parallel, the update strengthens capabilities for the RFLP methodology (Requirements → Functional → Logical → Physical), enabling engineering teams to manage the full systems-engineering lifecycle more seamlessly.
This upgrade means that users no longer need separate tools or models for different AUTOSAR standards classic and adaptive alike can be handled together, which simplifies architecture alignment and reduces toolchain fragmentation. Moreover, the bolstered RFLP support lets teams trace back from high-level requirements right through to physical implementation in one coherent view. With software-defined vehicle (SDV) demands on the rise, this release positions PREEvision as a stronger platform for managing the increasingly complex E/E architectures in modern vehicles. The multi-version AUTOSAR support and enhanced systems-engineering workflow aim to accelerate development, improve consistency across versions, and future-proof architecture tools for OEMs and suppliers.
Overall, PREEvision 10.21 reflects how Vector is adapting its tool suite to meet the demands of next-generation vehicle electronics—where software, service orientation and multi-domain integration are rapidly becoming the norm.
