Ultraviolette Automotive partners with Cardo Systems to launch smart helmet and connected rider platform
News, 6 November 2025
Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler maker Ultraviolette has entered into a strategic collaboration with Cardo Systems, a leader in motorcycle communication technology, to introduce a next-gen connected-riding ecosystem. The companies unveiled their Phase 1 initiative at EICMA 2025 in Milan, featuring the “UV Crossfade” — a lightweight carbon-fibre smart helmet that meshes rider-to-rider, rider-to-vehicle and sensor-based connectivity in real time.
The UV Crossfade helmet, aimed initially at the F77 MACH 2, F77 SuperStreet and X-47 Crossover models, integrates Cardo’s advanced mesh communication network with Ultraviolette’s in-house “Dynamic Alert Sequencing (D.A.S.)” software to prioritise and deliver critical vehicle alerts while riding. It meets global safety standards (ECE 22.06, DoT, ISI), weighs approximately 1,380 g, and is priced at around ₹19,900. By establishing rider-vehicle connectivity as part of its broader “Connected Rider Ecosystem,” Ultraviolette aims to elevate user experience, enhance safety and create a software-driven edge in a competitive EV and tech-enabled motorcycle market.
