TLS-1000, an alert system promises safer roads for vehicles
An inventor from Yakima, Washington has developed a new device — dubbed TLS‑1000, also known as “THE HALL PASS,” designed to alert drivers when an emergency vehicle is approaching an intersection. The aim is simple: give motorists timely warning so they can safely pull aside, allowing ambulances, fire trucks or police vehicles to pass through without delay.
According to the press release by InventHelp, the system features a weatherproof design and can be easily deployed — making it well-suited for use by emergency services. By improving visibility and giving advanced warning, TLS-1000 could reduce the risk of collisions at intersections and help emergency units reach their destinations faster. The design is currently patent-pending, and prototypes along with technical drawings are available for licensing or sale to manufacturers.
