T-map Mobility gets TISAX certification

T-map Mobility announced on the 19th that its vehicle infotainment system "TISAX" (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) has been obtained by its vehicle infotainment system "TMAP AUTO".

TISAX is a certification of automotive information security assessment organized by the German Automotive Industry Association (VDA) and is a standardized criterion for assessing the level of information protection and data security of automakers across the supply chain. By adding automobile-related requirements to the International Standard Security Certification (ISO/IEC 27001), it has special characteristics that cannot be replaced by similar authentication such as ISMS.

In this regard, as automobiles shift to software-oriented, data transmission between vehicle systems and external networks is becoming more active. “Data security is an essential element for safety in the future mobility era, such as software updates in vehicles, remote diagnosis, and autonomous driving functions,” T-map Mobility said. “The acquisition of TISAX certification will be the basis for protecting driver and vehicle data from increasing cyber threats.”

T-map Mobility has established an information security system suitable for the global level in line with changes in the automobile industry environment.
