Bengaluru-based Sonata Software and Germany’s adesso SE have announced a strategic global partnership aimed at accelerating enterprise digital transformation through AI-driven modernization. The alliance combines Sonata’s expertise in scalable global delivery and modernization engineering with adesso’s deep European market presence and consulting strength. Together, the companies plan to help enterprises modernize their digital ecosystems, optimize operations, and achieve measurable business outcomes through cloud, AI, and data-driven solutions.
This collaboration will focus on four key areas: AI-powered business optimization, scalable and agile delivery models, robust governance and compliance frameworks, and strategic market expansion. By uniting Sonata’s Platformation.AI and Harmoni.AI offerings with adesso’s localized service capabilities, the partnership seeks to enable enterprises to leverage generative and agentic AI for innovation and efficiency. The alliance will also create one of Microsoft’s largest Business Applications partnerships globally, spanning Europe, North America, the Middle East, and India.
Nicole Dezen, Chief Partner Officer at Microsoft, highlighted that the partnership will empower enterprises to modernize systems and harness AI on the Microsoft Cloud platform. Sonata Software CEO Samir Dhir emphasized the collaboration’s role in expanding the company’s European footprint and accelerating modernization at scale, while adesso SE CEO Mark Lohweber noted the partnership’s ability to blend local expertise with global reach to deliver real business impact.
With this alliance, Sonata Software and adesso SE aim to set new benchmarks in digital transformation, helping enterprises worldwide achieve agility, compliance, and sustainable growth through advanced AI and cloud technologies.
