Roadzen’s DrivebuddyAI lands major fleet deals across India
Press Release, 17 October 2025
Roadzen Inc. has struck agreements with six leading e-commerce trucking fleets across India to roll out its in-cab intelligence system, DrivebuddyAI, in over 1,500 commercial vehicles. These fleets—operating Volvo and BharatBenz trucks across middle-mile and long-haul routes—will adopt DrivebuddyAI’s driver monitoring and collision warning tools under five-year contracts.
The deployment includes full hardware installation, per-vehicle software licensing, and live connection to Roadzen’s 24/7 command center, which enables real-time intervention when signs of drowsiness or risky driving are detected. The total contract value is expected to reach the mid-seven-figure range in USD over five years. The fleets are slated to be fully operational with DrivebuddyAI by March 2026.
Beyond safety, Roadzen plans to integrate insurance-linked benefits for participating fleets, such as safety-based premium discounts and faster claims processing—leveraging its AI, telematics and insurance stack. DrivebuddyAI is already certified under India’s AIS-184 and the EU’s GSR 2144 regulations, highlighting its readiness for both domestic and international markets.
This set of contracts signals a move by smaller logistics providers to adopt advanced safety systems and technology. “DrivebuddyAI’s success in the SME fleet market underscores our ability to scale cost-effective safety across heavily fragmented trucking networks,” said Rohan Malhotra, Roadzen CEO.
