Revv Secures $20M to Transform Auto Repair with AI Technology.

Revv a New York based company that uses technology to transform auto repair shops, has raised more than $20 million for vehicle repair services. The auto repair sector has a significant hurdle as modern vehicles become more complex and it’s important to adjust to the advanced requirements of ADAS, which is now standard in 92% of new cars.

While working in an auto repair shop, Adi Bathla, the founder and CEO of Revv and a pioneering product leader at Misfits Market, observed the difficulties technicians faced with more software-dependent vehicles. A platform that not only addressed the technological requirements but also collected the priceless, complex OEM data that was stored in the minds of the most seasoned technicians was created in collaboration with Rashmi Sinha, an engineer who shared their enthusiasm for modernizing offline industries. Before obtaining any money, this foundation allowed their first product to quickly acquire traction, servicing more than 30 vehicle repair shop.

By combining data from more than 60 sources, Revv’s technology uses sophisticated big language models to reduce hours of diagnostic investigation into seconds and produce understandable, doable repair packages for intricate ADAS systems like adaptive cruise control, automated braking, and lane departure alerts. All team members will have instant access to crucial diagnostic data thanks to the hardware-agnostic system’s flawless integration with all shop equipment and the entire estimating software suite. Additionally, ongoing self-learning and development are made possible by the technicians’ embedded feedback loop.

Revv has grown to more than 2,100 repair locations in just 16 months, and in less than 7 months, its ARR topped seven figures. Since then, it has continued to grow at double to triple digits every quarter. This rise has been largely attributed to the platform’s capacity to spot ADAS repair opportunities early in repair workflows, allowing shops to take advantage of these chances and greatly increase income for vehicles that are already on site. Body, collision, paint, paintless dent repair (PDR), calibration, and mechanical shops of all sizes and specialties report striking outcomes. For instance, by incorporating ADAS repairs into their business plan with the platform’s assistance, one early adopter grew from one location to 37 stores in just four months, while another saw a 75% boost in sales in only nine months.

With the recent addition of auto-quoting and sophisticated documentation features, Revv is extending its capabilities in anticipation of the future. Additionally, they have obtained very strategic distribution agreements to increase their footprint in this new market area after successful trials in the mechanical repair arena. Bathla, however, has no intention of stopping there.
