QEO teams up with TruckerCloud to harness telematics for smarter insurance

QEO Insurance Group is partnering with TruckerCloud to bring real-time driving, safety, and fleet performance data into its commercial auto insurance operations. By tapping into TruckerCloud’s platform, QEO aims to sharpen its underwriting, loss control, and claims handling by integrating analytics from telematics and video systems.
Under this collaboration, QEO will use live telematics and video input from many vendors through one unified system—helping it verify vehicle identity (VINs), assess driver behavior, and capture usage-and-safety trends across geographies and driver types. Early detection of risky behavior via continuous feedback (like alerts and safety scores) should lower the chance of losses before they happen. Meanwhile, claims teams will get faster access to reliable data for reconstructing events and assessing damage, speeding up resolution.
