Oben Electric, an electric motorcycle manufacturing startup from Bengaluru, has secured ₹100 crore through its Series A funding round. Since its initial Series A funding, Oben Electric has significantly expanded its footprint, establishing 37 retail outlets across 26 cities in 13 states, including key regions like Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana, and Odisha. The fresh capital injection is earmarked for accelerating the company’s next growth phase.By FY26, the company plans to expand its retail footprint to over 150 showrooms in more than 50 cities. Additionally, Oben Electric intends to scale up manufacturing at its Bengaluru facility, strengthen its after-sales network, and expedite the creation of the ‘O100’ electric motorcycle platform, which is designed to be an accessible option priced below ₹1 lakh.
Oben Electric’s current product offerings feature the flagship Rorr and its entry-level variant, the Rorr EZ. It boasts quick acceleration, reaching 0–40 km/h in 3.3 seconds, a top speed of 95 km/h, and an impressive Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of up to 175 km. This will support its ambitious goals for international expansion and further operational scaling, with the ultimate aim of becoming a globally recognized electric motorcycle brand designed and developed in India.
