This strategic partnership will provide innovative battery leasing solutions specifically designed for electric three-wheelers (L3) and electric five-wheelers (L5) operating in the last-mile delivery sector. This collaboration is set to revolutionize the last-mile delivery sector with sustainable transportation solutions.
Under this agreement, Neuron Energy will commit to supplying 2400 battery packs for L5 category vehicles and 10,000 battery packs for L3 category vehicles. Urja Mobility will leverage their expertise to manage the leasing aspect. This will enable fleet operators to overcome the hurdle of high upfront battery costs. Their flexible lease terms, ranging from 12 to 36 months, cater to diverse operational needs.
Neuron Energy anticipates significant revenue generation of around 100 crores from this partnership. Urja Mobility gains access to Neuron’s cutting-edge Lithium-ion battery technology, strengthening their leasing offerings. Most importantly, electric vehicle fleet operators benefit from reduced upfront costs and potentially lower operational expenditure through battery leasing.
