Neuron Energy has announced the launch of its Gen 2 series lithium-ion battery packs in India, specifically designed for electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and light commercial vehicles (LCVs). These next-generation batteries are set to be commercially available across the country from July 2025.
The Gen 2 battery packs are engineered to address the challenging road conditions and diverse climates prevalent in India. Key features include an enhanced structural integrity for higher durability, improved heat dissipation for optimal performance, and superior vibration protection. They also integrate a smart Battery Management System (BMS) with advanced cell balancing technology, which significantly extends battery life, reduces maintenance requirements, and ensures consistent and reliable operation.
Neuron Energy aims to achieve revenues exceeding ₹250 crore from this new product line, targeting a wide customer base including EV manufacturers, fleet operators, logistics companies, battery dealers, e-mobility startups, and government purchasers. This launch reinforces Neuron Energy’s commitment to providing reliable, intelligent, and cost-efficient power solutions for India’s rapidly expanding electric vehicle ecosystem.
