The Indian Army’s Fire & Fury Corps has joined hands with Airbornics Defence & Space Pvt Ltd (ADSL), part of the JCBL Group, to establish a state-of-the-art New Generation Vehicle (NGV) Repair Hub and warehouse at the 14 Corps Zonal Workshop in Leh. The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 16 October 2025, is aimed at enhancing the Army’s logistics readiness by providing a dedicated repair and supply facility for its modern vehicles and equipment.
The signing ceremony at Headquarters 14 Corps in Leh was presided over by Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla, Corps Commander, 14 Corps, with Brig Nipoon Sood representing the Army in signing the MoU. Senior officers from divisions across Ladakh, along with key representatives from JCBL Group, including Director & CEO Raj Kumar Pandey and COO Col Rajwinder Singh (Retd), attended the event. Industrial partners such as TASL, BFL, Polaris, JSW, and MDSL were also present.
Under this initiative, JCBL Group will bring its expertise in defense manufacturing, technical support, training, R&D, and retro-modification to the NGV Hub. The group will also maintain ready stocks of fast-moving spares and critical components supplied to the Indian Army through its domestic and international networks. Lt Gen Bhalla emphasized that integrating industry at forward locations like Leh will significantly enhance the operational readiness of the 14 Corps, and plans are underway to expand such industry-linked warehouses to three additional forward locations.
Mr. Rishi Aggarwal, Managing Director of JCBL Group, described the collaboration as a “special partnership” with the most operationally active formation of the Indian Army. He highlighted that such initiatives strengthen Army-industry synergy, ensuring quicker access to critical resources at frontline positions in strategically sensitive regions like Ladakh.
