HARMAN unveils new in-cabin tech ready for today’s vehicles

Press Release, 15 January 2026

HARMAN, the automotive technology arm of Samsung, has announced a sweeping set of enhancements to its “Ready” product portfolio that are now available for automakers to integrate into new vehicles. These advancements are designed to help car makers quickly deliver smarter, more connected and more personalized in-cabin experiences across audio, safety, displays and software-defined systems with an emphasis on real-world readiness rather than future prototypes.

The upgraded lineup brings innovations across multiple domains. For audio and personalization, HARMAN’s Ready StreamShare creates up to four individual media zones inside the cabin using a Bluetooth hub and low-latency headphones, while HALOsonic and branded audio features allow vehicles to offer customizable sound signatures and immersive brand-specific atmospheres. On safety and connectivity, new Ready Care and Ready Aware tools blend in-cabin monitoring with external hazard awareness and driver support, backed by machine learning to reduce false alerts. Ready Connect adds robust telematics support including 4G, 5G and satellite communications to keep drivers and passengers connected even in challenging areas.

HARMAN is also focusing on visual clarity and usability with headline products like the Neo QLED-powered Ready Display and the Ready Vision QVUE windshield interface, which prioritizes driver visibility and intuitive interaction. Complementing the hardware, its software-defined vehicle (SDV) ecosystem including cloud-native testing tools, secure virtualization and over-the-air update platforms aims to streamline development cycles and support ongoing feature upgrades throughout a vehicle’s lifetime.

According to HARMAN executives, this approach highlights how automotive AI and connected technologies are evolving from isolated innovations into integrated, scalable systems that can be delivered at scale by OEMs today. The company’s goal is to help manufacturers reduce integration complexity while offering compelling, differentiating experiences that feel natural and safe for drivers and passengers alike.
