GO EC Autotech a Kerala based start-up provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure solutions, has revealed its plan to install 1,000 EV super-fast charging stations throughout India. The company aims to significantly expand the charging network and promote the adoption of electric vehicles in the country.
The GO EC Autotech currently runs over 33 EV super-fast charging stations across India, including 70 in Kerala. The charging stations will be strategically located in various metropolitan areas, commercial hubs, residential complexes, and major highways, ensuring easy access for EV users. By providing reliable and accessible charging facilities, the company hopes to encourage more individuals and businesses to switch to electric vehicles.
According to a press statement from the company, “With the new project, we plan to expand our footprint by strategically positioning the charging stations in capitals, state and national highways, as well as Tier II and Tier III cities and rural areas in the country.”
Go EC Autotech plans to deploy a mix of fast-charging stations and standard charging points. Fast-charging stations will allow EVs to recharge their batteries at a significantly faster rate, enhancing the overall user experience. The standard charging points, on the other hand, will cater to vehicles with smaller battery capacities or those needing a slower charge.
The company is actively engaging with various stakeholders, including government agencies, automakers, fleet operators, and local communities, to ensure the successful implementation of this initiative. Collaborations with local utility companies and renewable energy providers are also being explored to promote sustainable charging solutions.

Go EC Autotech plans to commence the installation of the first batch of charging stations in the coming months, with the aim of completing the entire deployment within the next year.
