Emma Dyga joins ABAX as CEO
ABAX has announced the appointment of Emma Dyga as its new Chief Executive Officer. Dyga, an experienced leader in software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions, will take up the role from 1 October. Dyga will lead ABAX into its next phase of growth.
ABAX, founded in 2003, has grown to become one of Europe’s largest mobility data companies. They are building a future where mobility data serves as a catalyst for growth, innovation, and transformation. Moreover, to realize this vision, they have developed a cutting-edge, open, data-agnostic smart mobility data platform. This platform helps customers reduce costs, optimize operations, and improve sustainability, efficiency, and safety.
Dyga joins the company from her previous role as Chief Operating Officer at Stockholm-based MarTech and e-commerce solutions provider QNTM Group. Furthermore, she helped scale the company and develop its operations. Prior to this, she served as CEO of APSIS, a digital marketing software provider.
AB Board Chair Nick Day expressed excitement about Dyga’s appointment. She highlighted her expertise in software and technology as a valuable addition to its growth plans. Day also thanked outgoing CEO Morten Strand for his dedication. Moreover, he announced that he will assume the position of Vice Chairman of the Board, focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M & A) and strategic partnerships.
Dyga herself expressed enthusiasm about joining and leading the company towards becoming a global telematics leader. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of ABAX’s software platform in helping companies meet sustainability goals, mitigate risks, and improve operational efficiency.
Dyga’s appointment is set to strengthen ABAX’s position in the telematics industry and propel the company’s growth strategy.
