The ECARX Makalu is a fifth-generation, digital cockpit computing platform. It is uses AMD Ryzen V2000 processors, which delivers sufficient computing power for a step-change in performance and enabling a longer product lifecycle of up to 5 years without hardware upgrades. The Makalu platform offers real-time 3D rendering, server-level processing performance, and new functionalities for safety and security. It enables immersive experiences, including gaming inside the vehicle, an immersive dashboard experience, personalized entertainment for passengers, and supports multiple 4K displays for maximum graphics precision
In addition to Lynk & Co, ECARX’s Makalu computing platform is used by other automakers, such as FAW and Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroën. Overall 6.9 million vehicles worldwide are powered by Makalu.
