Delta to expand its Krishnagiri facility with a $500 million investment

The Taiwanese power and energy management company Delta Electronics, which recently unveiled its 240kW DC Fast EV Charger, plans to further invest $500 million to increase its footprint in India. Under ‘Make in India’ initiative Delta Electronics had setup manufacturing activities in 2015. Prior to this it had made investments through its local subsidiary since entering India in 2003.
Krishnagiri which is in the state of Tamil Nadu, is located 90 kilometers from Bengaluru. Delta Electronics factory over here specializes in producing telecom, data center energy efficiency, and electric mobility solutions.
A portion of the 125-acre project, which will be built in five stages, including the creation of a special economic zone (SEZ), is anticipated to be operational by the end of 2025.
