Danlaw, Inc. has launched CleverCharge — a Level-2 home EV charger designed to simplify and smarten electric vehicle charging for households with multiple EVs. Now available online (including Amazon), CleverCharge integrates a patent-pending innovation called CleverKey — an OBD-II plug-in device that gathers vehicle data to enable AI-powered charging features. This system is aimed at EV owners seeking convenience, efficiency, and intelligent charging management under one roof.
What sets CleverCharge apart is its robust suite of smart functions. The charger learns a user’s driving habits to send reminders and schedule charging for the most optimal times, such as when electricity rates are lowest. The companion mobile app shows real-time metrics including battery range (in miles and kilowatt-hours), remaining charge time, and battery health. Users can manage up to four EVs or plug-in hybrids from the same app — ideal for growing multi-EV households.
Installation is flexible: buyers can pick between a hardwired version or a plug-in model using a 240 V outlet (NEMA 14-50), supporting both J1772 and NACS connectors. The charger delivers strong charging performance — up to 46 miles of driving range per hour for the hardwired version, and around 38 miles per hour for the plug-in option.
