Carrum Mobility Solutions, a fleet management company owned by the CarDekho Group, has extended its partnership with Uber and will now oversee the fleet for its premium service, Uber Black.
More than 250 SUVs in the category have been deployed around Delhi-NCR and Mumbai in the first phase. In May 2024, Karan Jain founded Carrum. Jain was a co-founder of Revv as well. CarDekho entered the shared mobility market in December 2023 when it acquired a majority investment in Revv, a company based in Gurugram.
CarDekho strategically invested an unknown sum in Carrum Mobility Solutions in September 2024.
The business oversees a fleet of automobiles and provides driver training and development initiatives. In order to launch in the market in 2024, it had first partnered with Uber.
