BYTES is developing AI-driven safety systems that utilize cameras to enhance the safety of two-wheelers by forecasting and averting accidents. It launched an ADAS for two-wheelers last Thursday, 13th February 2025.
BYTES emphasizes on the situation where two-wheelers are involved in 60% of the annual global total of 50 million accidents, and that human error is responsible for 90% of these cases. Two wheelers are quite popular in India and its two-wheeler market recorded sale of 20.5 million units in 2024, a 16.6% rise compared to the prior year. The Indian two-wheeler market is experiencing a transition towards technology-based accident prevention and many companies are investing in safety solutions, which could redefine road safety for millions of riders.
