Indian Institute of Technology Madras is working on electric and autonomous vehicle for public transport inside its campus. The vehicle has been named- Bolt, and it is expected to replace the existing fossil fuel vehicle transporting people inside the campus.
Bolt is being developed by Team Abhiyaan, which has students from multiple disciplines as its members.
Bolt was one of the 70 tech projects which was showcased at Centre for Innovation, during the annual open house.
