ASUS launches first 8K HDR mini-LED ProArt display, available October 2025
Press Release, 16 October 2025
ASUS is rolling out its much-anticipated ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX, slated to hit the market in October 2025. This 32-inch monitor marks a new benchmark: it’s the world’s first 8K HDR mini-LED display with 4,032-zone local dimming, capable of a 1200-nit peak brightness and 1000-nit sustained output. It supports deep color fidelity through 10-bit color, covers 95% Adobe RGB and 97% DCI-P3, and is factory-calibrated to a Delta E < 1 accuracy.
To maintain that precision, the PA32KCX includes a motorized colorimeter for automated calibration. It also supports multiple HDR standards—Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG—making it a versatile pick for high-end creators and color professionals. Connectivity is robust, featuring dual Thunderbolt 4 ports (one offering 96 W power delivery), DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and Auto KVM switching between two connected machines.
In addition to the hardware, ASUS has partnered with Adobe to offer buyers a free three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Substance 3D, and Acrobat in select regions—adding a software boost to the hardware launch.
With this display, ASUS is targeting professionals working in video editing, color grading, motion graphics, and HDR content creation—anyone who demands extreme resolution, color accuracy, and brightness from their tools. The PA32KCX seems poised to become a flagship reference display in creative studios and post-production suites.
