News, 28 April 2025
During Auto Shanghai 2025, AXERA, a Chinese company into AI chips, and Aptiv, have announced a partnership focused on jointly developing Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) solutions. This collaboration leverages Axera’s latest AI chip, the M57, which is designed for high performance, low power consumption, and cost-effectiveness, while also meeting global automotive safety and cybersecurity standards (ISO 26262 ASIL-B and ISO 21434).
Under this partnership, Aptiv will utilize Axera’s M57 chip to develop new front-view intelligent cameras and corresponding ADAS solutions. The collaboration has already secured a mass-production contract for a European-bound vehicle model from a leading Chinese new energy vehicle startup.
