Date: April 04, 2024. — AMO Mobility, a Noida-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has recently introduced the Jaunty i Pro, a high-speed smart electric scooter, priced at INR 1.15 lakh. The Jaunty i Pro – designed to cater to the needs of customers in Tier-I and Tier-II cities, as well as the last-mile delivery sector.
The scooter features a high-efficiency BLDC hub motor that generates 143 N-m torque at 2.95KW. It’s powered by a 2.52KW battery which delivers a claimed mileage of up to 120km. It also features three-speed modes: Economic, City Ride, and Power Mode.
In terms of safety, the Jaunty i Pro features superior battery technology coated with anti-flame potting material and a temperature alarm buzzer. It also uses the CAN 2.0B protocol, an innovative combination braking system, and safety communication technologies to ensure rider safety and comfort.
Sushant Kumar, the Founder of AMO Mobility, expressed that the Jaunty i Pro showcases their commitment to innovation in EV technology. With over 90% domestic value addition at the supplier level and all parts made in India, the company aims to support the nation’s emission reduction efforts.
Following the product launch, AMO Mobility plans to produce 30,000 units of the Jaunty i Pro in the fiscal year 2025 and pursue further local collaborations to expand its market presence.
