AiDEN and Volvo Group partner to simplify fleet compliance with built-in truck technology
19th March 2026
Connected vehicle software company AiDEN Automotive has teamed up with Volvo Group to develop a smart in-vehicle solution that helps fleet operators meet regulatory requirements more efficiently. The collaboration, carried out through Volvo’s innovation hub CampX, focuses on solving real-world customer challenges using a proof-of-value approach. The project was launched in response to Poland’s SENT (System for Electronic Transport Supervision) regulation introduced in late 2024, which requires tracking of high-risk goods during transportation.
As part of the initiative, AiDEN’s compliance service was integrated directly into Volvo trucks’ in-vehicle infotainment system. This allows automatic geolocation reporting without the need for external GPS devices or aftermarket hardware. The result is a seamless, built-in solution that reduces complexity for fleet operators while ensuring full compliance with transport regulations. The companies reported that the initial phase delivered strong value for both fleet owners and drivers by simplifying operations and eliminating additional installation costs.
Following the success of the first phase, both companies have now initiated a second stage of the project, aiming to explore wider commercial deployment across new markets in 2026. This aligns with Volvo Group’s broader strategy of collaborating with startups through CampX to rapidly test and scale innovative mobility solutions. The hub enables real-world validation of technologies by connecting startups with Volvo’s engineering expertise and customer base, accelerating the path from concept to commercialization.
AiDEN’s platform, designed as a privacy-first and low-code integration system, supports multiple mobility and safety services within a single application. By embedding such solutions directly into vehicles, the partnership highlights a growing shift in the trucking industry toward software-defined, compliance-ready transport systems that reduce operational friction while improving efficiency for fleet operators.
