Omega Seiki Mobility is an Indian electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer focused on developing electric mobility solutions. It is involved in the design and production of electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and commercial vehicles.
By the end of current fiscal year (March 2025), Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) intends to start manufacturing hydrogen-powered three-wheelers in India.
Omega Seiki Mobility has been actively exploring and investing in hydrogen-powered vehicles as part of its efforts to promote sustainable transportation solutions. It has been engaged in R&D to develop hydrogen fuel cell technology for vehicles. This includes understanding the integration of hydrogen systems with their existing vehicle platforms. It has been planing to introduce hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (FCVs), which are seen as an alternative to battery electric vehicles for certain applications, particularly in commercial and heavy-duty segments. To achieve this objective it has been working on collaborations with other organizations and stakeholders in the hydrogen ecosystem. This includes partnerships with governments and research institutions. It is also exploring initiatives related to hydrogen refueling stations and distribution networks.
